REWE Dortmund invests in DSS2 for its forklift workshop
At one of REWE Dortmund's logistics centres a large fleet of stackers and straddle trucks is serviced every week. The goal was to raise safety and cut setup time in the workshop.
The starting point
Service was previously carried out with jacks and support stands, requiring many steps before the actual repair could begin.
Technicians often worked at floor level, adding strain and longer throughput times.
The solution and the result
With DSS2 the truck is lifted at engineered lifting points to a height that suits the task, with free access to wheels, brakes and battery.
The workshop gained a repeatable method, shorter setup time and a clearly better working environment.
